The Victorian school was built 1837 and could hold 300 boys. The street it was named after got its name after every family living on the road died from the plague which swept through Hitchin in 1349. The plague pit is still known to exist at the top of the road.

On the investigation we will be investigating the classrooms and the headmasters house.

The Monitorial Classroom is essentially unchanged from the day it was opened in 1837, though the floor is now level. It originally sloped slightly to allow the Master to more easily see all the students

So many reports of paranormal activity from full bodied apparitions, screams and cries being heard, footsteps, door opening and closing on their own the list goes on.

No under 18s
