The Regent Picture House was first opened in January 1921. It was designed by Lambert and Watton using Ceramo tiling which as survived over 100 years. Originally built over two levels with a flat ventilation roof this magnificent building still stands proud today. It has been used as a cinema, a bingo hall for many years and a pool and snooker Hall before being restored back to its former glory as a cinema and antiques Centre. Paranormal activity has been reported for years.
