Wisbech Castle & Vaults is a grade II listed building and was originally built in the early 1000’s, after a flood in 1236 which destroyed the castle, the building has been redeveloped a handful of times between then and the present. During the Tudor times the castle was notoriously used as a prison and held a large number of executions. Theres numerous paranormal reports including disembodied voices, the smell of lavender from nowhere and the apparition of a man. Join the HMP team as we set out to find out the history and spooky goings on at this incredible location known as ‘The Castle of Nightmares’!
